Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to implement and support data protection infrastructure, including DLP, DSPM, and de-identification solutions. You will work with on-prem and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), configure policies, and automate tasks using PowerShell and Python.

The role requires deep experience in data protection technologies, strong collaboration with senior engineers, and ongoing learning to stay current with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Data Loss Prevention.
• 5+ years of experience with Information Security and Systems Analysis.
• 5+ years of experience with deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software.
• 5+ years of experience with creating and managing DLP policies.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain components of the organization’s data protection infrastructure across platforms and vendors, configuring DLP, DSPM, and data de-identification solutions.
• Collaborate on design and implementation of data protection solutions across on-prem and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Configure and maintain data protection policies, including sensitive information types and tuning parameters.
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents with root-cause analysis and escalation as needed.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) for deployment and maintenance of data protection software.
