Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join its team. The engineer will implement, maintain, and support data protection infrastructure and applications, working across on-prem and cloud environments to safeguard sensitive information using DLP and DSPM tools.

Responsibilities include configuring policies, troubleshooting incidents, and developing automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to improve deployment and maintenance efficiency while staying aligned with security best practices.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention
• 5 years of experience with Information Security and Systems Analysis
• 5 years of experience deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Computer Science or related field

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain components of the data protection infrastructure across platforms and vendors, including DLP and DSPM.
• Collaborate on design and implementation of data protection solutions in on-prem and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Configure and maintain data protection policies across platforms, including sensitive information types and detection tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis.
