enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join the team. The role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and supporting data protection infrastructure and applications, including DLP, DSPM, and de-identification across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will work with Windows, Linux, GKE, and various data security tools, collaborating with senior engineers to drive policy standards and incident response improvements.

Competenze

• Experience implementing and maintaining data protection infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Proven ability to configure DLP/DSPM and data de-identification solutions.
• Experience in developing and maintaining data protection policies and procedures.

Mansioni

• Implement and maintain data protection components across platforms and vendors, deploying DLP, DSPM, and de-identification solutions.
• Collaborate on design and deployment of data protection solutions across on-prem and cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Configure data protection policies, sensitive information types, and tune detection parameters.
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents, perform root cause analyses, and escalate as needed.
• Assist with testing, implementation, and documentation of data protection projects; participate in project meetings.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to improve deployment and maintenance of data protection software.
• Collaborate with team to expand knowledge and skills in data protection technologies.
