Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join the Data Protection team responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting data protection infrastructure and applications. The role emphasizes DLP, DSPM, and data security posture management across on‑prem and cloud environments using tools like Microsoft Purview, ForcePoint, BigID, and Varonis.

Experience implementing and tuning DLP/DSPM solutions.
Experience with policy creation and enforcement for data protection.
Experience deploying and maintaining data protection infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across platforms and vendors.
Collaborate on design and deployment of DLP/DSPM solutions for on‑prem and cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Configure sensitive information types and tune detection parameters across platforms.
Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis.
Support projects with testing, implementation, and documentation.
Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to improve deployment and maintenance.
Collaborate to expand knowledge of data protection technologies.
