Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to implement and support our data protection infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure). You will work with Microsoft Purview, ForcePoint, BigID, Varonis, and DSPM/DLP tooling to safeguard sensitive information.

The role requires 5 years in DLP and information security, plus hands-on engineering with deployment, policy management, and automation (PowerShell, Python).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Data Loss Prevention.
• 5+ years of experience with Information Security and Systems Analysis.
• 5+ years deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software.
• 5+ years creating and managing DLP policies.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across platforms.
• Collaborate on designing data protection solutions for on-prem and cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Configure and maintain data protection policies and sensitive information types.
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python).
• Stay current with data protection tech and compliance requirements.
• Support projects with testing, implementation, and documentation.
• Work with team to expand expertise.
