Job summary

enGen seeks a Data Protection Engineer to lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of our data protection infrastructure. You will work on DLP, DSPM, encryption, and de-identification across on‑prem and cloud environments, collaborating with senior engineers to uphold security standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, ForcePoint, BigID, Varonis, Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms, plus scripting in PowerShell or Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security or related field.
• 5+ years' experience with Data Loss Prevention and security engineering.
• Experience deploying and maintaining DLP/DSPM infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across platforms.
• Configure DLP/DSPM and data de-identification solutions.
• Collaborate on data protection designs for on-prem and cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) for deployment and maintenance.
