enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join the Data Protection team. This role focuses on implementing, maintaining and supporting data protection infrastructure and applications, including DLP, DSPM, and de-identification solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will work with tools like Microsoft Purview, ForcePoint, BigID, Varonis, and GKE, while scripting automation in PowerShell and Python to improve deployment efficiency and security posture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• 5+ years of experience with Information Security and Systems Analysis
• 5+ years of experience deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP
• 5+ years of experience creating and managing DLP policies
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure) and on-prem
• Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python)

Responsabilités

• Implement and maintain components of data protection infrastructure across platforms and vendors (DLP, DSPM, de-identification)
• Collaborate on design and implementation of data protection solutions across on-prem and cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Configure and maintain data protection policies and sensitivity types
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Contribute to projects with testing, implementation, and documentation
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to improve deployment and maintenance
• Collaborate with team to expand data protection knowledge
• Stay current with data protection technologies and compliance requirements
• Other duties as assigned
