Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to implement and maintain the organization’s data protection infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments. The role focuses on DLP, DSPM, and de-identification solutions, using tools like Microsoft Purview, ForcePoint, BigID, and Varonis.

You will develop automation scripts and collaborate with senior engineers to drive security posture improvements while aligning with HIPAA, NIST, and other standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with Data Loss Prevention
• Experience with information security and systems analysis
• Experience deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software
• Experience creating and managing DLP policies
• Cloud experience with GCP, AWS or Azure preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure components
• Collaborate on design and implementation of data protection solutions
• Configure and maintain data protection policies across platforms
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Develop automation scripts to support deployment and maintenance of data protection software
• Stay current with data protection technologies and compliance requirements
