enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to own and improve the organization’s data protection infrastructure. You will implement, maintain, and support DLP/DSPM solutions, collaborate across teams, and contribute to policy development in both on-prem and cloud environments.

The role requires deep experience with Purview/ForcePoint/BigID/Varonis, Windows/Linux, and scripting in PowerShell or Python. A hybrid/remote-capable position is available with a strong emphasis on security compliance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention
• 5 years of experience with Information Security and Systems Analysis
• 5 years of experience with deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software
• 5 years of experience with creating and managing DLP policies
• 3 years of experience with at least two modern programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell)
• 3 years of experience with designing and providing architectural support to two of: GCP, AWS, Azure

Responsabilités

• Implement and maintain DLP/DSPM components across platforms
• Collaborate on design and implementation of data protection solutions across on-prem and cloud
• Configure and maintain data protection policies and tuning
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to improve deployment efficiency
• Stay current with data protection technologies and compliance requirements
