Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to implement and maintain our data protection infrastructure, including DLP and DSPM solutions, across on‑prem and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure). You will configure policies, troubleshoot incidents, and develop automation scripts to increase efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data protection, strong security governance experience, and hands-on scripting skills in PowerShell or Python. Knowledge of HITRUST, NIST, PCI, HIPAA is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Data Loss Prevention.
• 5 years of experience with Information Security and Systems Analysis.
• 5 years of experience deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software.
• 5 years of experience creating and managing DLP policies.
• Preferred 3 years of experience with at least two modern programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, BASH, PowerShell).

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain components of the data protection infrastructure across platforms.
• Collaborate on design and implementation of data protection solutions.
• Configure and maintain data protection policies across platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data protection incidents with root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python).
• Stay current with data protection technologies and industry practices.
