Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining data protection infrastructure, including DLP and DSPM, across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will work with Windows, Linux, and container platforms to deploy secure solutions and ensure policy compliance. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in information security, hands-on experience with data protection tooling, and strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and maintaining DLP/DSPM solutions.
• Hands-on with Windows and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Strong scripting in Python/PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across platforms.
• Configure DLP/DSPM policies and de-identification solutions.
• Collaborate on architecture for on-prem and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop automation scripts to improve deployment efficiency.
• Stay current with data protection technologies and standards.
• Assist with testing, documentation, and project tasks.
