Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking an Engineering Manager for our Data Platform team in the US. You will guide a team of 8–15 engineers to build and maintain scalable data infrastructure that analyzes blockchain activity at petabyte scale.

You will mentor, shape architecture, and drive delivery of high-availability data services. You should have 5+ years of leadership in distributed systems, strong Python and SQL/SparkSQL skills, and experience with data stores and orchestration tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years managing engineers with 8-15 team size and growing scope.
• Proven track record conceiving and implementing distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python and strong SQL or SparkSQL.
• Versatility across data stores, pipelines, and processing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, guiding technical and cultural growth.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of work, with high availability of services.
• Plan, estimate, and prioritize roadmaps with cross-functional teams.
• Design scalable data models and ETL pipelines for petabyte-scale data.
• Collaborate with data scientists, backend engineers, and product managers.
