Job summary

TRM Labs in San Francisco seeks a Senior Data Engineer for the Data Product team to design and build mission-critical data services that analyze blockchain transaction activity at petabyte scale. You will work with data scientists, backend engineers, and product managers to design scalable data models and deliver sub-second query performance.

You will help translate user needs into robust data solutions, write clear design docs, and communicate tradeoffs across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in architecting scalable API development and distributed systems.
• Excellent Python skills and proficiency in SQL or SparkSQL.
• Experience with BigQuery and Postgres.
• Experience with Airflow and DBT.
• Experience with data processing and streaming technologies: Dataflow, Spark, Kafka, Flink.
• Ability to deploy and monitor infrastructure in public clouds using Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Datadog.
• Mentored engineers or analysts and communicated technical decisions clearly.

Responsibilities
