TRM Labs is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Data Product team to design and build mission-critical data services that analyze blockchain activity at petabyte scale. You will help create scalable data models and pipelines while collaborating with data scientists, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver impactful features.

You will mentor engineers, craft clear design docs, and push for performance and cost-efficiency across platforms, cloud infra, and orchestration tooling.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in architecting scalable API development and distributed systems
• Exceptional Python programming skills and SQL or SparkSQL
• Experience with data stores like BigQuery and Postgres
• Proficient in building pipelines, data platforms, or ML/BI workflows
• Strong ability to write clear design docs and communicate tradeoffs

Responsabilidades

• Design and build mission-critical data services for TRM's products
• Analyze blockchain transaction activity at scale to provide insights
• Collaborate with data scientists, backend engineers, and product managers to design data models
• Lead data engineering initiatives from ideation through production deployment
