Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to join the Data Product team. You will design and build mission-critical data services that analyze blockchain activity at petabyte scale, helping power TRM's products and services for investigators and analysts.

You will architect scalable data models, optimize storage and retrieval for sub-second query latency, and collaborate across data science, engineering, and product teams to deliver robust data platforms that enable safer financial ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in architecting scalable API development and distributed system architecture.
• Exceptional programming skills in Python and strong SQL or SparkSQL.
• Experience with data stores such as BigQuery and Postgres, and data pipelines with Airflow and DBT.

Responsibilities

• Build highly scalable features that integrate with dozens of blockchains.
• Design and architect data models for sub-second latency in querying blockchain data.
• Collaborate with data scientists, backend engineers, and product managers to design and implement data models for TRM’s products.
