Responsibilities

  • Process historical medical records and input into a specialized system with accuracy.
  • Scan and archive confidential documents, audit imaging logs, and organize files for storage.
  • Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and tablet issues; assist with network tasks and VPNs.

Are you ready to make a tangible impact in the healthcare sector? Aquent is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for a temporary, dual-function role that combines meticulous data management with essential technical support. Working Tuesday - Friday from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, you will be instrumental in safeguarding critical medical records and supporting the technical infrastructure that underpins life‑saving operations. Your precision and technical acumen will directly contribute to the seamless functioning of vital healthcare processes, ensuring accuracy and reliability where it matters most.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data & Inventory Management: Process historical records and accurately input medical records into a specialized computer system; flag, correct, and electronically release units under clinical supervision.
  • Imaging & Archiving: Scan confidential medical history documents and patient charts into a document imaging system, audit digital imaging logs for accuracy, and organize physical files for off‑site storage using detailed tracking.
  • Technical & Network Support: Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and tablet hardware/software issues, assist with local computer/printer networking, and set up cellular routers and VPN access.
  • Specialized Device Setup: Configure and manage specialized data collection devices across mobile units and centers, executing setup tasks for data extraction and system configuration.
  • Quality Assurance & Clerical Support: Perform self and team audits against end‑of‑shift reports to maintain the integrity of critical databases, while handling general office administration and records management.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proven data entry experience with high speed, high accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
  • Hands‑on technical proficiency with Windows 11 OS, Remote Desktop Access, computer and printer networking, cellular routers, and VPN configuration.
  • Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills across desktops, laptops, and tablets.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong organizational and critical thinking abilities.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment.
  • Must be able to work on a W‑2 basis (C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, or bio‑tech environment using specialized computer systems or document imaging systems.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and regulatory compliance standards (FDA, HIPAA).
