Job summary

Aquent is partnering with a major healthcare company to fill a Reference Lab Outreach Customer Success Specialist on a temp-to-perm basis in Newark, California.

You will serve as the bridge between clients, lab teams, billing, and courier operations to ensure seamless laboratory outreach services. This on-site hybrid role requires 2–5 years in client-facing roles in healthcare, a bachelor's degree, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in client-facing roles interacting with customers, healthcare providers, or patients.
• Demonstrated intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an aptitude for learning new software systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain composure and present to executive-level stakeholders.
• Proven organizational and critical-thinking skills to independently prioritize changing tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Newark, California as part of a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned client accounts and coordinate issue resolution across cross-functional teams.
• Provide continuous outreach training and education regarding specimen collection requirements, ordering workflows, and laboratory compliance standards.
• Oversee and manage customer courier operations, including tracking service requests, resolving route or pickup concerns, and auditing vendor invoices for cost allocation.
• Support strategic business growth by assisting with marketing initiatives, tracking campaign leads, and executing semi-annual customer satisfaction surveys.
• Prepare and present operational summaries, client feedback reports, and escalation updates for executive leadership.
• Coordinate client supply request fulfillment and oversee the secure distribution of printed test requisitions and test results.

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Be authorized to work in the United States


• Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment


• Be able to work on a W-2 basis (C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position)

Key Responsibilities

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45-$55/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
