Job summary

HealthBay in Seattle is seeking a Quality Manager to own quality initiatives across departments, improving consistency, efficiency, and customer outcomes.

You will lead root-cause analysis, establish corrective actions, and develop sustainable improvements, while reporting metrics to leadership. This role partners with operations, technology, and business teams in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in quality management, quality assurance, operations, process improvement, compliance, or related field.
  • Experience managing quality or continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of quality-management principles and corrective-action processes.
  • Experience analyzing performance data and identifying trends.
  • Strong problem-solving and root-cause-analysis skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with both operational teams and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain practical quality standards, procedures, and controls.
  • Monitor quality performance and identify trends, risks, and areas requiring attention.
  • Establish and track quality objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure teams understand and consistently follow established quality requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce errors, and eliminate recurring problems.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and corrective-action initiatives.
  • Develop practical solutions and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Partner with teams to implement improvements and ensure changes are sustained.
  • Conduct or coordinate quality reviews, assessments, and internal audits.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable company, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate quality documentation and records.
  • Support external audits and customer quality requirements when applicable.
  • Analyze quality data and prepare clear reports for leadership.
  • Develop dashboards and performance measurements where appropriate.
  • Communicate quality issues, trends, and recommendations to management.
  • Use data to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Work closely with operations, project management, technology, and business teams.
  • Provide guidance and support when quality issues arise.
  • Facilitate quality reviews and improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong working relationships across departments and influence positive change.
  • Monitor quality expectations for applicable vendors and service providers.
  • Review vendor performance and help resolve recurring quality issues.
  • Collaborate with external partners to establish appropriate quality standards.
