Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a salaried and hourly team within our fulfillment network. You will drive safety, quality, attendance and performance while empowering your people with the tools they need for success.

Lead large-scale site and regional projects, develop productivity plans from forecasts, and partner with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention and HR to hit business goals. You’ll work in a dynamic environment with varying noise, temperatures, and shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Experience with Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma preferred.
• Experience leading teams of 2+ salaried and 70+ indirect employees.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance and HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours.
• Work in a loud environment with variable temperatures.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs where applicable.
