Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly staff across multiple shifts. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while delivering on customer delivery promises.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, cross-functional collaboration, and scalable project execution. Responsibilities include mentoring a large workforce, shaping productivity plans, and coordinating with Safety, Engineering, and HR to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Experience managing a team of 2+ salaried employees and 70+ indirect employees.
• Experience scoping, leading, and implementing process improvements through: Lean process, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and analytical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding department performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in variable noise and temperature environments.
