Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of salaried and hourly staff across fulfillment networks. You will drive safety, quality, and delivery performance while leveraging data to improve productivity and efficiency.

The role spans First, Middle, and Last mile workflows with a focus on customer expectations and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, leading large-scale projects, and partnering with Safety, Engineering, and HR to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Experience leading process improvements through Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and loading balance.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours.
