Uncommon Schools in Newark, NJ seeks a Deans of Curriculum & Instruction (DCIs) to lead data-driven instruction and strengthen teacher development across our network of high-performing public charter schools. You will work closely with the Principal and fellow DCIs to drive student achievement and support instructional leadership.

You will design and implement high-quality professional development, monitor assessment cycles, and coach instructional leaders to ensure rigorous, joyful learning

Formación

• Passionate commitment to Uncommon Schools’ mission.
• 3+ years of teaching experience with evidence of outstanding student growth.
• Demonstrated instructional coaching capabilities.
• Strong content knowledge across multiple grades or content areas.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Ability to plan and lead effective teacher professional development.

Responsabilidades

• Lead data-driven instruction, including analysis meetings and IA scoring.
• Provide real-time feedback to teachers and support lesson planning.
• Plan and deliver high-quality professional development across school/region.
• Coach and identify goals for ILs and lead IL team meetings.
• Oversee school-wide data-driven systems and curricula alignment.
• Collaborate with Principal and Home Office to support student achievement.
