Job summary

Uncommon Schools seeks a Deans of Curriculum & Instruction to lead data-driven instruction, support teachers and ILs, and raise student achievement. You will collaborate with the Principal and network leaders to drive instructional improvements, coach staff, and implement high-impact PD across campuses.

The role requires 3+ years of teaching, coaching experience, strong content knowledge, and a Bachelor’s Degree.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work autonomously;

Responsibilities

• Lead data-driven instruction analyses and action plans across classrooms.
• Facilitate assessment cycles and quality assurance with instructional staff.
• Coach teachers and ILs through feedback, observations, and mid-year reviews.
• Plan and deliver high-quality professional development across the region or network.
• Collaborate with leadership to set high-leverage goals for instructional teams.
• Support school-wide data response and curriculum development initiatives.
