Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Project Manager for Tenant Fit Out and data center projects. You will plan, manage, and execute multiple projects, ensuring profitability, safety, and owner satisfaction.

The role requires coordinating with estimators, subcontractors, and owners to deliver on time and within budget. You will develop PMP, monitor cost, schedule, and quality, and lead the project team through permits, procurement, and closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• 4+ years PM experience in Data Center Construction.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Knowledge of construction processes and cost control.
• Understanding of estimating concepts and change orders.
• Knowledge of building codes and design requirements.
• Experience reading plans, blueprints and specifications.
• Professional affiliation (e.g., PE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares project budgets and unit cost reports.
• Leads the project team in preparing the PMP.
• Negotiates owner and subcontractor change orders.
• Obtains permits and coordinates with regulatory requirements.
• Develops project schedules and milestones with the project superintendent.
• Manages procurement within budget and schedule constraints.
• Develops and monitors quality, safety, and risk management plans.
• Coordinates all final close out procedures and project documents.
