Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecom Section Manager to oversee telecommunications scope on data center projects, directing design from concept through completion across multiple concurrent endeavors.

You will lead a team of SME’s, project leads, and designers, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure on-time delivery while adhering to ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards. Hybrid work options are available nationwide.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline; further credentials welcomed.
• Minimum 4 years leading designs for telecommunications structured cabling systems.
• Minimum 2 years' experience managing a small team.
• RCDD credential and NFPA 70 knowledge highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead leads across multiple projects and clients.
• Forecasting and staffing resources for projects.
• Budgeting resources for multiple projects.
• Guide and mentor project leads through the design process.
• Review and modify DIV 27 specifications; conduct site visits.
