Job summary

Jacobs in the United States is seeking a Telecom Section Manager to lead the telecommunications scope on data center projects. You will oversee designs, coordinate SME teams, and ensure on-time delivery across multiple concurrent projects.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in electrical engineering, 4+ years leading telecom cabling designs, 2+ years managing a small team, and an RCDD credential. Hybrid work and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 4+ years leading telecom structured cabling designs.
• 2+ years managing a small project team.
• RCDD credential preferred.
• Experience with data centers and relevant standards (TIA, NFPA 70).

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead leads across multiple projects and clients.
• Forecast projects and staff resources.
• Budget resources for multiple projects.
• Guide and mentor project leads through design processes.
• Review Division 27 specs; conduct site visits and document reviews.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and ensure deadlines are met.
