Job summary

CBRE seeks a Technology Operations Manager to oversee hardware installations, upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting within a Data Center environment in Atlanta. You will supervise the team, drive quality, and manage budgets while aligning with CBRE RISE values and client objectives.

The role emphasizes staffing, training, coaching, and performance management, with strong MS Office usage and a focus on process improvement. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain quality and customer service standards.
• Provide formal supervision to employees. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Prepare budgets and perform inventory control measures to ensure an accurate accounting for expenditures and resources.
• Identify problem areas and work to implement solutions to effectively resolve them.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values; influence stakeholders to reach agreements.
