Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Technology Operations Manager to oversee hardware installations, upgrades, testing and troubleshooting within a Data Center environment. The role sits in Critical and Technical Services, focusing on technical maintenance in client environments.

The position requires leadership to mentor staff, manage budgets, and align with CBRE RISE values while ensuring quality and productivity across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain quality and customer service standards.
• Ensure all employees comply with company rules, policies, procedures, and regulations while meeting productivity targets.
• Implement and meet departmental and company goals to improve business outcomes.
• Prepare budgets and perform inventory control measures to ensure accurate expenditures and resources.
• Identify problem areas and work to implement solutions to resolve them.
• Provide formal supervision to employees: training, coaching, evaluations, and hiring.
• Coordinate daily activities, set schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values, influencing stakeholders to reach agreements.
• Apply knowledge of your discipline and how it integrates with others to achieve objectives.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
