Job summary

Amazon in New Albany, OH is hiring a Data Center Technician for the North Region to help maintain cloud infrastructure. You will install equipment, perform server rack installations, and conduct hardware break-fix and network troubleshooting to keep services available 24/7.

You'll document issues, participate in change management, help onboard new staff, and travel within the region as needed. A high school diploma is required; an associate degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Performing server rack installations, hardware break-fix on various components, troubleshooting network issues, and responding to operational incidents that impact service availability.
• Serving as a primary contact point for internal and external stakeholders.
• Performing on-call duties and participating in maintenance and change management.
• Contributing to documentation and process improvement initiatives.
• Helping to train and onboard new team members.
