Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Technician for a rotating night shift to perform preventive maintenance and repairs within a Data Center operation. The role supports mechanical and engineering systems, ensuring safe environmental conditions and reliable service.

You will react to BMS alarms, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and document work in accordance with procedures. Collaboration with vendors and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical training or apprenticeship completed with 1–2 years of related work.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong communication and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems in a Data Center.
• Monitor and respond to Building Management System alarms; perform emergency repairs.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors to ensure compliance with procedures and safety rules.
• Conduct site inspections and collect readings from UPS, PDU, and utility meters.
• Maintain thorough maintenance records and complete required training.
