Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs in a data center environment on a 12-hour night shift. The role requires inspecting mechanical and electrical systems, monitoring BMS alarms, and coordinating with vendors to maintain reliable operations.

You will work within the Critical and Technical Services function, following strict safety, regulatory, and quality standards while documenting all tasks for traceability.

Qualifications

• Technical training with apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet physical requirements and work rotating shifts.
• Experience presenting information clearly to teams or clients.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs in data center.
• Inspect Mechanical & Engineering systems and equipment daily.
• React to BMS alarms and complete emergency repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and ensure compliance.
• Monitor environmental conditions for safe operations.
• Record maintenance activities and quality checks.
• Complete work following defined procedures under supervision.
