Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs within a data center environment on a day shift that rotates 12 hours a day over a 3/4 day schedule.

You will inspect mechanical and electrical systems, respond to alarms, and coordinate with vendors to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and quality records, while adhering to CBRE processes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Training in a Technical discipline having served an apprenticeship or equivalent with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to present information to internal departments, clients, management and/or colleagues.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Basic math skills, ability to calculate simple figures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and equipment.
• Ensure environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
• React to Building Management System alarms and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Work with third-party vendors and ensure compliance with processes, procedures, and regulations.
