Job summary

Scientific Games Corporation in Grove City, OH, seeks a Data Center Technician to join a 24x7 operation. The role covers 1st and 2nd line support, troubleshooting incidents, monitoring Windows Server and Linux systems, and following established procedures to keep lottery systems running smoothly.

You will work 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am on a 7-on/7-off cycle, participate in nightly processing, generate status reports, and communicate with Lottery customers via email or calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a 24x7 data center environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd level support by troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
• Operate and monitor Windows Server and Linux systems using established procedures.
• Monitor production environment and escalate critical issues as needed.
• Submit incident reports via ticketing systems and communicate issues to stakeholders.
• Assist on conference calls and complete shift checklists and reports.
• Perform basic networking troubleshooting and nightly processing tasks.
