Job summary

Scientific Games Corporation is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our 24x7 operations team in Ohio. This role supports Windows and Linux servers, monitoring systems and databases, with on-call rotation and shift work of 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am on a 7-on/7-off basis.

You will troubleshoot incidents, run standard procedures, prepare status reports, and participate in nightly processing of lottery systems. On-the-job training will be provided to support SGI’s proprietary system, with emphasis on

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in a 24x7 data center environment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving incidents with standard procedures.
• Familiar with Windows Server and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd level support by troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving incidents.
• Operate and monitor Windows Server and Linux systems using established procedures.
• Monitor production environment and escalate critical issues as needed.
• Use incident management ticketing systems to report and document issues.
• Communicate with Lottery customers via phone and email for major issues.
