Job summary

Ryan Consulting Group, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Data Center Support Operator to assist day-to-day data center operations, hardware maintenance, and infrastructure support in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

You will help with server installations, rack and stack activities, cabling, inventory management, and incident response coordination while collaborating with Data Center personnel, System Administrators, OEM vendors, and IT support teams. Training shifts may vary initially.

Qualifications

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with server hardware troubleshooting methodologies.
• Familiar with UNIX and Windows command environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle equipment safely.
• Experience coordinating incidents and service requests across teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Data Center personnel to install and rack equipment.
• Assist with cabling, inventory, and component harvesting for salvage.
• Respond to ITSM incidents and provide after-hours support as needed.
• Coordinate OEM repair activities and on-site technician arrivals.
• Update asset and spare parts inventories and incident status in ITSM.
