Job summary

Flexential Corp. is seeking a Data Center Technician I in Alpharetta, GA to provide 24x7x365 physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources.

The role requires a solid understanding of facilities infrastructure, Windows OS, PC troubleshooting, and management apps. The technician will build strong customer relationships, monitor issues, follow ERP processes, and assist with hardware installations and cabling in a secure data center environment, while maintaining safety and

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of Windows and Microsoft operating systems.
• Must be a self-starter, reliable and dependable.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong attention to detail, meeting deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-4 years IT/Data Center Support experience.
• Running Cable/Climbing Ladders.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships; respond to calls and emails promptly.
• Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues and alarms.
• Escalate to engineering staff as needed in a fast-paced data center.
• Perform security procedures for sign-in and badging.
• Document time spent on tasks and support cases.
• Enter Cap Labor on timesheets and submit timesheets on time.
• Follow Flexential Cabling Standards and document work.
