Job summary

CoreSite is hiring a Data Center Technician I who supports operational integrity, security, and regulatory compliance in a Tier 1 data center environment. You will assist with monitoring, incident escalation, customer interactions, and detailed reporting while ensuring high standards of safety and reliability.

The role requires ability to work day shift on a Tuesday to Saturday schedule, and involves operating complex electrical, mechanical, and security systems in a mission-critical facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or greater.
• 1+ years of experience in either customer service or security.
• Experience in a mission critical facility is a plus.
• Be able to pass an extensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Monitoring, Security, and Control).
• Follow management direction for day-to-day activities.
• Escalation of incidents and report writing.
• Provide physical security within CoreSite premises.
• Deliver day-to-day exceptional customer service and support.
• Document detailed reports and daily activity logs.
• Manage service requests and communicate with customers and internal teams.
