Job summary

CoreSite, LLC in Reston, VA is hiring a Data Center Technician II to support day-to-day operations of a Tier II facility. The role focuses on security, reliability, and regulatory compliance within a mission-critical data center, including cable installations, equipment testing, and incident response.

You will work on night shifts Tue-Sat 10:00pm-6:00am, perform tasks with CMMS, monitor systems, and lead customer service interactions while upholding CoreSite's standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or greater; 2+ years in facilities or telecom.
• Experience as installer in a mission critical facility is a plus.
• Able to pass extensive background checks including DMV and credit verifications.
• Willingness to undergo background check and drug testing where permitted.

Responsibilities

• Manage building service requests through resolution.
• Perform and complete work orders and customer service tickets in a timely manner.
• Remote Hands Management.
• Rack and Stack; internal/external infrastructure duties.
• Navigate and utilize a CMMS system.
• Provide day-to-day exceptional customer service and support.
