Job summary

Flexential is seeking a Data Center Technician to provide 24x7x365 on-site support in a Portland, OR data center. You will troubleshoot infrastructure issues, manage security procedures for customers and visitors, and document activities and ticket updates as part of a fast-paced operations team.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, 0–4 years IT/Data Center experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer calls and emails promptly and professionally.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues in Flexential infrastructure.
• Follow security protocols for sign-in, badges, and escorting visitors.
• Document time spent on tasks and update tickets in ServiceNow.
• Maintain data center cleanliness and organize inventory.
