Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking Data Center Technicians to support our customers across multiple locations. This role focuses on hardware repair, rack installations, and monitoring to ensure the highest levels of data center availability and reliability for our customers.

The position requires willingness to work in a 24/7 environment, with potential evening, weekend, holiday, and night shifts. A valid driver's license and ability to travel within the regional work area are essential as

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ year of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix on various components, troubleshoot network issues, and respond to operational incidents impacting service availability.
• Serve as a primary contact point for internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, software developers, vendors, and contractors.
• Perform on-call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives based on analysis of operational issues.
• Help train and onboard new team members.
