Job summary

Oracle is partnering with WaV2T to place a Data Center Technician in Phoenix, AZ. You will troubleshoot servers, networks, and facilities, supporting round-the-clock data center operations with disciplined, mission-focused execution.

Key responsibilities include installing and maintaining hardware, triaging incidents, and coordinating with engineering, safety, and logistics teams. Relevant WaV2T credentials and CompTIA certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of WaV2T pathway including CompTIA Tech+ and/or Linux+ certification.
• 0-1 years’ experience in IT infrastructure, military communications, electronics, or data center support roles.
• Troubleshooting servers, networking devices, and IT equipment with hands-on labs.
• Knowledge of data center operations: electrical, cooling, airflow, and rack commissioning.
• Strong skills in structured cabling and inventory management.
• Understanding of systems administration (Linux/Windows) and core OS services.
• Physically able to lift up to 25kg and work in confined or elevated settings.
• Must be located near or willing to relocate to Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Leverage WaV2T training and CompTIA certifications to install, maintain, and optimize server and network hardware.
• Respond to and triage incidents affecting facility or IT operations.
• Diagnose and repair servers and networking equipment per best practices.
• Serve as a technical liaison with technical and non-technical teams.
• Manage inventory and spare parts with accurate record-keeping.
• Participate in 24/7 shift rotations to support continuous operations.
• Plan and commission new rack equipment and assist with data center design.
• Adhere to compliance, safety, and environmental regulations.
