Job summary

Oracle, in partnership with Washington Vets to Tech (WaV2T), seeks a Senior Data Center Technician to support data center operations in a round‑the‑clock environment. You will troubleshoot servers, networks, and facilities issues, applying WaV2T skills to ensure robust cloud services and precise documentation.

The role requires WaV2T pathway completion, CompTIA Tech+/Linux+ certifications (or equivalent military training), and 0–1 years in IT infrastructure or data center support.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the WaV2T Server and Cloud Application: Data Center Technician Pathway.
• Includes CompTIA Tech+ and/or Linux+ certification or equivalent military training/work experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and optimize server and network hardware.
• Respond to and triage incidents affecting facility or IT operations.
• Diagnose and repair servers and networking equipment.
• Serve as a technical liaison with technical and non-technical teams.
• Manage inventory and spare parts with accurate records.
• Participate in 24/7 shift rotations to support continuous operations.
• Plan and commission new rack equipment and cabling.
