Job summary

Oracle is partnering with WaV2T to place a Data Center Technician in the United States. You will apply the WaV2T-acquired skills to troubleshoot servers, networks, and facilities, ensuring robust cloud services.

Expect 24/7 rotation, meticulous documentation, and collaborative teamwork in a mission-critical environment. Qualifications include completion of the WaV2T pathway with CompTIA Tech+ and/or Linux+ and 0–1 years in IT or data center roles.

Qualifications

• WaV2T pathway completed with CompTIA Tech+ and/or Linux+ certification.
• 0-1 years’ IT infrastructure, military communications, electronics, or data center support.
• Troubleshoot servers, networking devices, and IT equipment with hands-on labs.
• Knowledge of data center operations, cabling, and rack equipment commissioning.
• Strong documentation, procedural discipline, and teamwork in mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and optimize server and network hardware.
• Respond to and triage incidents affecting facility or IT operations.
• Diagnose and repair servers and networking equipment per best practices.
• Serve as a technical liaison across teams.
• Manage inventory and spare parts; maintain accurate records.
• Participate in 24/7 shift rotations for continuous operations.
• Plan and commission new rack equipment and assist cabling work.
• Adhere to compliance, safety, and environmental regulations.
