Job summary

Oracle seeks a Data Center Technician in Phoenix, AZ, to bridge engineering and data center operations. You will apply WaV2T‑acquired skills to troubleshoot server, network, and facilities issues, supporting robust cloud services in a round‑the‑clock environment.

Required WaV2T pathway completion with Tech+ and/or Linux+ certifications and 0–1 year in related infra roles, with strong documentation and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Completion of WaV2T pathway with Tech+ and/or Linux+ certifications.
• 0-1 years in IT infrastructure, military comms, electronics, or data center support.
• Hands‑on labs and real‑world training in server/network troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of data center operations, cabling, and equipment commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and optimize server and network hardware.
• Respond to incidents affecting facility or IT operations and triage them.
• Diagnose and repair servers and networking equipment per best practices.
• Act as a technical liaison with technical and non-technical teams.
• Manage inventory and spare parts with accurate record-keeping.
• Participate in 24/7 shift rotations for mission-critical operations.
• Plan and commission rack equipment and assist with data center design.
