Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Technical Manager to supervise a team responsible for mechanical operations, maintenance, energy management, and workforce development across a facility or portfolio.

You will oversee daily activities, mentor staff, and ensure safety and efficiency of building systems, while coordinating with tenants and vendors to deliver high-quality service. The role requires leadership skills, experience in staffing and coaching, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and monitor training and development.
• Coordinate and manage daily activities; set work schedules and assign tasks.
• Oversee operations and maintenance for assigned facilities and assist in budget development.
• Implement improvements for preventive maintenance programs and maintain manuals.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and tenants; liaise with facility management teams.
• Lead communication with tenants, clients, owners, and vendors.
• Monitor building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues.
• Guide exchange of information, set performance expectations, and handle problems.
