Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure in hyperscale and enterprise data centers. You will perform rack-and-stack tasks, cabling installations, equipment provisioning, testing, and documentation, while ensuring safety and adherence to Ericsson standards.

The role requires independence, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with project teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant certs.
• 1+ years in data center operations or IT infrastructure.
• Knowledge of data center hardware, racks and cabling.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, installation docs and MOPs.
• Ability to perform rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, and equipment installation with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, storage equipment and related infrastructure as per designs.
• Install, route and terminate copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling and management.
• Install PDUs, connect to power sources and verify connectivity.
• Provision equipment and perform hardware installation and OOB management connections.
• Execute testing, validation and standard MACD and FRU replacements per procedures.
• Maintain accurate installation records, test results and as-built docs.
• Identify design concerns and safety risks to senior technicians.
