Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure within hyperscale and enterprise data center environments. The role involves rack-and-stack, structured cabling, equipment provisioning, testing, and ensuring safety and compliance with Ericsson and customer standards.

You will work independently on standard deployment tasks, collaborating with technicians, project teams, vendors, and customers to deliver reliable data

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, networking, and power.
• Understanding copper and fiber cabling practices and basic optical concepts.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, installation documents, and MOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and safety, able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, and storage per designs.
• Route, terminate, and label copper and fiber cabling with proper management.
• Provision equipment, install hardware components, and set up out-of-band management.
• Maintain records, test results, and as-built documentation; escalate issues when needed.
