Job summary

Ericsson AB in Plano, Texas is seeking a Data Center Services Technician II to install, maintain, and support hyperscale and enterprise infrastructure. You will perform rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, and provisioning with minimal supervision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or technical cert, 1+ year in data center operations, familiarity with copper/fiber cabling, and a commitment to safety and quality. Travel up to 100% may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and installation documentation.
• Willingness to travel up to 50–100%.
• Strong attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Independently install and deploy servers, network devices, storage equipment per docs.
• Install and dress copper and fiber cabling with labeling and cable management.
• Install PDUs and verify power connectivity.
• Perform equipment provisioning, testing, and OOB connections.
• Execute MACD activities and FRU replacements per procedures.
• Maintain installation records and as-built documentation.
• Escalate design concerns and safety risks.
