Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure in hyperscale and enterprise data centers. You will perform rack-and-stack, cabling, equipment provisioning, testing, and operational support while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires 1+ year of data center operations experience, knowledge of copper/fiber cabling, and the ability to read engineering drawings and MOPs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, telecommunications, field services, or IT infrastructure support.
• Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers, networking equipment, power distribution systems, and structured cabling.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, installation documentation, and methods of procedure (MOPs).
• Experience performing rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, and equipment installation activities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Independently install and deploy servers, network devices, storage equipment, and related infrastructure according to designs and docs.
• Install, route, terminate, and dress copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling and cable management.
• Install PDUs, connect equipment to power sources, and verify power and management connectivity.
• Perform equipment provisioning, hardware installation, and OOB management connections.
• Execute testing and validation activities including continuity testing, fiber verification, and standard turn-up procedures; handle MACD and FRU replacements.
• Maintain installation records, test results, inventory updates, and as-built documentation.
