Job summary

Scientific Games is seeking a Data Center Tech to join our 24x7 operations team in Grove City, OH. The role supports Windows and Linux servers, databases, and applications, performs basic networking troubleshooting, and uses incident management tools to resolve issues in a highly regulated gaming environment.

Shifts run 7 days on with 7 days off, 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am, with on-the-job training provided for our proprietary SGI system. High school diploma and 1–2 years in a data center are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• 1–2 years’ experience in a 24x7 data center environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd level support by troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
• Operate and monitor Windows Server and Linux based systems.
• Monitor production environment and escalate critical issues as needed.
• Use incident management ticketing systems to report and document issues.
• Communicate via phone and electronic notification for escalation.
• Perform basic networking troubleshooting.
• Complete shift checklists and status reports.
